A Ubisoft representative has confirmed that their upcoming game Far Cry 5 will not have loot boxes but it have microtransactions, So guns skins, player skins, vehicle skins and outfits for your character are customizable.
There are silver bars which are available in some locations of Hope country and they are also hidden at every outpost.You can use these silver bars to buy different stuff like weapons, clothes, vehicles, skins from any shops in whole game world.You can also buy or spend silver bars in store option in game pause menu.
So these silver bars are purchasable, though I don't know how much they cost, or what they worth in Far Cry 5 store.They are hidden at outposts and at some other locations of game world so I think they are finite resource but as we saw in previous Far Cry games that there are option to reset outposts so maybe this feature will also return in Far Cry 5 but I'm not sure yet.
